P-51D "Mustang" IV

Because I am afraid of real airplanes, I have always liked model planes. I don’t have a lot of them because they cost a lot to buy. But yesterday, I bought a new one with the money I saved up from last semester.

This cost me 258 pesos. But i don’t really care. This is something I like so price doesn’t really matter.
So I cleaned my room today, and proceeded to put the Mustang together. It wasn’t that hard compared to my old Apache helicopter, which I threw away. (kicking myself for that)
here it is when it was almost finished. It only needed a few more parts.

It took me about 2 hours to put it all together. I got super glue on my fingers. I hate having to use super glue. but it’s okay. My airplane looks awesome!

I just realized that I don’t have a shot from the left. lol. that’s okay I guess.
It only needs color and some detail enhancements. I think I can get to work on that by Monday.
To be honest, I’m pretty psyched about finishing this plane. If ever, It’s gonna be the first real model plane I built that doesn’t look like crap!
I’m hoping for the best. I’ll show more pics when I finish it up. :)

Pagbabago?

Wala satin may gusto magmukang tanga.

gagawan ko yun ng paraan. even if it means beating the hell out of everyone out there!

I mean, hindi ba kasi, parang mas may sense of friendship pag ganon ang tawag?

Manila Kingpin: The Untold Story of Asiong Salonga (Movie Review)

"...Akin ang lupang ito." "Hindi! Kay Asiong!"

That is just one of the memorable lines in this movie by Tikoy Aguiluz. It's a biographical film about the life of the gangster from Tondo, Nicasio, "Asiong" Salonga. Though his life story has already been brought to the big screen back in the 1960's starring Joseph Estrada, This one is the most recent rendition of Asiong's life.

Characters: Asiong Salonga
                     Fidela
                     Domeng Salonga
                    Totoy Golem
                     Erning "Toothpick" Reyes

Plot: It stars Asiong Salonga and how he lives his life as the Manila Kingpin. He is like the Robin Hood of Tondo Manila, he robs from the rich and gives it to the poor residents of Tondo. he is seen as a hero by his neighbors and colleagues, but his wife, Fidela, worries day and night that her husband might be killed in some random shoot out.
And during the middle of the film, Asiong will be arrested and taken to jail, wherein he will reflect on his wrong doings. Eventually, he will be released, and he tries to live a new life, but it is cut short when one of his colleagues shoots him from behind.
Eventually, his other comrades, capture and kill the traitor, thus ending the movie.

Review: I am not a big fan of Action movies. But this one, really captured my attention. the lines, and the characters will really make you see how a true gangster's life is like. Furthermore, the Cinematography is amazing as well. The movie was shot in black and white, and it added up to the old-time feel to the movie which was set around the 1950's.
Manila Kingpin is one of the best movies I have seen. It can also teach you a little something on principle and how to be true to the people who trust you fully.

Rating: Out of Five Stars, I would give this a six. This movie was shown during the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), But I wasn't able to watch it then because of financial reasons.... But nevertheless, it is still a movie worth watching! So, if you haven't heard of the story of Asiong Salonga, well, get a move on and be enlightened! :D

My Masterpiece :D

While we were making the backdrop for our play, after I finished drawing the fridge, I drew this on it, kinda like, a kid's drawing posted on there.

Okay, this is gonna sound mean, but This is my professor in my point of view. Kinda crazy, kinda loony, kinda angry. but so awesome. hahaha.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything. I'm just being me. :)

Happy one year!

Pero ika nga ni sir, "Don't say anything online you don't have the balls to say in person."

Good day to you.

Book Review! The Best of Chico and Delamar's The Morning rush Top 10

I have been a listener to these two since I was in my second year in High School. I don't always get to hear the entire show because they start at 6am, and I usually leave the house at around 6.30. But when I do finish their program, It is always with a good laugh. What with Chico's jokes and Delamar's cool voice, they are really something to look forward to in the morning!

When I heard they released this book, "the Best of Chico and Delamar's The Morning Rush Top 10" I wanted it so badly for christmas, but since I didn't have the money at the time, My sister gave it to me.

If you're someone who likes witty jokes and innuendos, well, this book is perfect for you! I was actually reading this on the train ride to school, and I was Laughing out loud. Kinda embarrassing, but worth it.

They have all kinds of top 10's like, Top 10 signs that you are a poser, Top 10 Maling Akala, and my personal favorite, Top 10 green jokes (hehe)

One of my favorite quotes from the book is from the list Top 10 Funny gay Quotes: gay guy wearing a mini skirt: "Di baleng makita ang Legs, wag lang ang eggs" --CYBER
MUMU

there are many more where that came from! so, if I were you, take out your remaining cash and buy The Best of Chico and Delamar's The Morning Rush Top 10! The best 175php you will ever spend! :D

Summer!

yo, it's been a while. well, Summer is almost here. In climate terms, it already IS here, but for us students, it's still pretty far away.

First thing's first, I don't think I'm gonna be able to volunteer for PAWS this summer. mainly because they said they can't take in temporary volunteers. damn. That's one plan shot down.

And I really wanna go swimming somewhere, but my friends don't really seem to want to do that. awww...

My Playstation2 is acting up and it's refusing to work for my parents' tv! man. Why'd you break down on me? T.T

looks like it's gonna be another lazy summer for me. But I'm still looking forward to the Jorge family outing this summer. Atleast I know that won't be cancelled. :D

Hey, there are things I can't have, but there are also things that I still have. I guess I can still stay happy. :)
